The Miami Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) proudly participated in two major events this spring that highlighted the vibrant research ecosystem at the University of Miami (UM): the 2025 Research Resources Expo and the 11th Annual Eugene J. Sayfie, M.D. Research Day.

At both events, the Miami CTSI team engaged with attendees to share the wide range of resources and services it offers to support clinical and translational research at UM.

From funding and training opportunities to research navigation services, informatics tools, study recruitment assistance, and strategies for working with the community, our booth served as a spot for information, conversation, and connection.

Held at the Schoninger Research Quadrangle on the Miller School of Medicine campus, the Research Resources Expo brought together researchers, staff, and students to learn about the tools and support available across the university.

The CTSI was one of 50 exhibitors present at this year’s Expo. Staff answered questions, made new connections, and distributed informational materials and giveaways to help the research community stay informed and connected with our services.

The following day, the CTSI joined the Department of Medicine at the 11th Annual Eugene J. Sayfie, M.D. Research Day. Hosted at the Lois Pope LIFE Center, the event showcased groundbreaking research through poster presentations, oral abstracts, and faculty lectures.

Through our participation in the celebration, we highlighted our commitment to advancing high-impact research across departments and disciplines.

These events provided valuable opportunities for CTSI staff to engage directly with the UM research community, raise awareness of our mission, and encourage collaboration.
