CTSI Hits the Ground Running at Move With Love 5k

On April 19, the Miami Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) hit the ground running at the Move With Love 5k Fun Run along the Underline Park hosted by our community collaborator Touching Miami with Love.

More than 250 participants, volunteers, vendors, staff, and supporters came out to the event that kicked off Touching Miami with Love’s 30 years of supporting children and families in Overtown and West Homestead.

As an event sponsor, the CTSI hosted a table to demonstrate UMiamiHealthResearch.org, a website to find health research studies enrolling at the University of Miami.

Partnering with local organizations helps bring opportunities for health research participation to communities across the area.

Along with its outreach efforts, CTSI team members also ran in the race and volunteered.
