Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Research Design

The Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Research Design Program of the Miami CTSI advises, educates, and trains researchers in the design and analysis of clinical translational research studies and develops new methods for data analysis.

The program offers expert consultation and research support through the Biostatistics Collaboration and Consulting Core and educational opportunities through workshops, roundtables and graduate programs to train the next generation of clinical researchers and biostatistical scientists.

The main goals of the program are to:

  • Provide research design and biostatistics support through the BCCC.
  • Develop new innovative biostatistical and related quantitative methods to advance clinical translational research.
  • Offer educational programs that serve the needs of clinical translational investigators.
