What is your current role?
I serve as the Senior Manager of Community and Stakeholder Engagement. In this role, I help bridge the gap between researchers, community organizations, and members to promote health equity through research within our CTSI.

What are you passionate about?
I’m passionate about making a positive impact in my community and with my family. Plus, I absolutely love reading!

What makes you laugh out loud?
Funny animal videos and The Office show.

What are you curious about?
I’m curious about what lies beyond space!

What is the most physically challenging thing you have ever done?
Spartan Race a few years ago.

With your current life experience, what is something you would tell your younger self?
Embrace change and take risks—it’s how you grow. Prioritize self-care, mental health, and meaningful relationships. Trust yourself — you’re stronger than you think.

Favorite time of year in Florida and why?
Spring. Not too hot yet and we occasionally get cool days and it’s just the perfect weather.

What is a place you would like to visit and why?
I’d like to visit Egypt because I’ve always wanted to see the pyramids and explore its rich history.

I’m reading The Paris Novel for my UM book club.
