WHAT is the research registry?
The Research Registry collects basic health information from people who agree to be contacted about participating in future research studies. It can help match you to University of Miami research studies that you may qualify to participate in.
WHO can join?
Anyone 18 years of age or older is eligible to participate in the registry.
WHY should I join?
Being part of a research registry allows you to stay connected and be in the know about research that you may want to participate in.
Some benefits of participating in research can include:
- Learning about ways to possibly improve your health
- Gaining access to new medications, tests, and programs before they become widely available
- Potentially helping others
- Contributing to the advancement of medicine
