CTSI Associate Director Dr. Jonelle Wright To Retire
Jonelle E. Wright, Ph.D., DPNAP
It is with mixed emotions that I write to inform our CTSI team, friends and colleagues, and supporters that, because of personal obligations, I have decided to retire. I will stay connected, however, with a Voluntary Faculty appointment.
As I hope is clear to all, you and the Miami CTSI are my heart and soul. I have given my all to helping advance the CTSI as a dynamic force for clinical and translational science across the University and beyond.
And I am more than proud of what we accomplished together. Our collective hard work, inspiration, and dedication brought the CTSI to its current standing, and I sincerely believe that it is perfectly positioned to thrive for many years to come. It is important on so many fronts!
Thank you, all, for your engagement, your friendship, and your diligence through the years it took to build the CTSI into “an indispensable resource for clinical and translational researchers and stakeholders in accelerating and transforming culturalized clinical and translational science” (to quote our original mission statement).
As expected, what we set out to do was not easy, but it certainly was rewarding beyond imagination. I want to thank each and every one of you for your part in it.
I will miss the highs and lows of it all, the joys of close personal relationships, and the many delights realized day-to-day, but will certainly remember them all! Thank you for that.
With much love and appreciation,
