Apply For New Grant Writing Series Which Begins July 12
The Miami CTSI Grant Writing Workshop is back with a new series running July 12 to August 9. This highly interactive, weekly workshop is designed to provide step-by-step practical advice on writing the various sections of NIH R- or K-style grants.
All critical aspects of grant writing are covered, including the NIH review process, how grants are scored, writing clear and concise Specific Aims, Research Strategy sections, Significance and Innovation statements, designing powerful titles, and much more.
Who Should Apply?
This workshop is intended for individuals with some experience with grant writing or who are ready to write a grant in the next 6 months. Weekly attendance is mandatory.
About The Instructor
Mary Lou King, Ph.D., professor of Cell Biology at the Miller School of Medicine, has mentored junior faculty through the CTSI Grant Writing program since 2013.
