Pilot and Collaborative Clinical and Translational Studies
The Pilot and Collaborative Clinical and Translational Studies program identifies and facilitates ways to increase the amount of high-quality transdisciplinary translational science at the University by improving pilot program procedures and supporting talented investigators and projects aligned with the Miami CTSI mission.
To accomplish this, the program will integrate existing pilot programs from different UM Schools, Colleges, and Institutes under a single administrative umbrella – automating application, review and evaluation processes to increase efficiency and improve marketing and outreach.
The program also supports talented investigators and projects that advance “culturalized” health sciences by offering funding opportunities through Pilot Awards and providing subsidized support from CTSI Components to improve the scientific quality of projects.
